Is Project Child?
Project
Child, a program of Valley Youth House, is a coalition of concerned citizens and organizations that exists
to prevent child
abuse of the Lehigh Valley by:
-
seeking
ways to support effective child abuse prevention programs already in
existence, and planning, facilitating, and evaluating the development
of new services
-
promoting
positive caretaking and parenting, encouraging the use of non-violent
alternatives to physical discipline which are more effective and less
damaging to the bodies and spirits of children
-
Training
professionals for the task of assisting families with effective
discipline and nurturing of their children.
